A few nights ago I created this vertical bed for Top 3 by Design. Terri, the owner, wanted to show off the amazing Missoni bed wear and had visions of a bed on the wall. Some dowel and some secret clipping and voila! Vertical Bed! Cosy and touchable.
Even though the temperatures are reaching 30 degrees plus, retailers are starting to stock new season merchandise. The above display hints at the coming season. Next time you walk through a shopping centre, check out all the winter gear on the mannequins. I walked past Bardot on Tuesday afternoon and saw a leopard fur jacket in their window- my sweat turned into rivulets at the thought of wearing a heavy jacket. Oh well. Tis the business of retail.
New season windows at Country Road and it's simple sophistication for trans-Winter (not that we really have seasons here anymore... the weather seems to do what it wants). A beautiful colour scheme and some strong lines, a very clean and graphic finish. Country Road do it well.
